OPEN TO THE WORLD
The universal dimension of our international schools
Helping each of our students to become bilingual is part of a wider process of discovering and understanding the world around them. By leading them towards bilingualism, we encourage our students to broaden their perspective to confidently grasp different aspects of society. At each of our bilingual schools in Paris, Clichy and Marseille, our students cultivate values such as curiosity, empathy and tolerance,
BILINGUISM
Become bilingual with concrete tools
Our bilingual learning method for children is designed for the most natural possible acquisition of both languages.
Language immersion
Why choose a Montessori bilingual school like ours? Because for each cycle, two classes are available: one dedicated to English, the other to French. In kindergarten, the child finds the same Montessori environment, with French-speaking teachers on one side, and English-speaking educators on the other. The same organization applies in elementary school. This bilingual learning method makes it easier for students to acquire a new language, as they are in total immersion.
An equivalent number of hours
The timetable is designed to ensure that each student has the same number of hours of teaching in each language. In this way, students acquire the ability to interact both orally and in writing in French and English.
Cambridge exam preparation
Based on the official Cambridge English Young Learners books, our students work every day to acquire the skills required for Cambridge certification.
Using American textbooks
At each bilingual school in Paris, Clichy and Marseille, our primary school pupils train with the textbooks used in the American system. The aim is to work on English in depth, so as to ensure bilingual pedagogical continuity.
THE CITIZENS OF TOMORROW
Building cultural bridges
The advantages of a bilingual school go beyond the prospect of multilingualism as a professional asset. Indeed, we firmly believe that cultivating empathy and tolerance requires a thorough understanding of others. In this respect, bilingualism is a powerful tool for raising our students' awareness of cultural diversity. We guide them so that they are firmly rooted in an increasingly globalized world. As well as passing on a language, our teachers pass on their culture.
IB SCHOOLS
Broaden our horizons by joining a network of international schools
To further strengthen the international dimension of our Group, we have taken steps to join the IB network. This opportunity will enable our schools to become part of a network of excellence comprising schools around the world that share our fundamental values of openness to the world and student development.
