Meet our Montessori-trained team and discover our pedagogical pillars

The teaching team at Esclaibes International Schools supports its students both academically and personally. In a bilingual learning environment, each student can progress at his or her own pace. Our small class sizes allow for personalized attention and the creation of bonds of trust between students and their Montessori-trained teachers.

OUR PEDAGOGICAL PILLARS

Our 6 pedagogical pillars

The Esclaibes International Schools' pedagogy is based on 6 pillars designed to prepare your children for excellence while fostering the development of their self-confidence.

Montessori pedagogy and French-English bilingualism

01.

French-English bilingualism

With equivalent teaching in French and English, we guide each student towards complete mastery of oral and written skills in both languages. This applies to all subjects on the curriculum, in all our Montessori bilingual schools in Paris, Clichy and Marseille.

02.

Fundamental learning

From the start of kindergarten through to the end of CM2, we take great care to follow the official French education programs, to guarantee a solid acquisition of fundamental skills. Each pupil is provided with an individual quarterly notebook to record his or her progress.

04.

Autonomy and confidence

In kindergarten, the development of autonomy and self-confidence is based on Montessori pedagogy. This is expressed through the activities of the five major material areas and the posture adopted by teachers, as explained in this guide to understanding Montessori pedagogy.
In elementary schools, this approach is extended through numerous workshops. Learning by doing aims to strengthen organizational skills, self-discipline, self-expression and decision-making.

05.

Team spirit

In our international schools, openness to the rest of the world and to others, mutual aid and collective know-how are fundamental. Group work, where cooperation takes precedence, is central to every school in our network. Throughout the year, workshops involving families in particular provide a window on cultural diversity and the importance of living together.

06.

Well-being

Passing on knowledge is one thing, cultivating the desire to acquire it is quite another! By creating learning environments based on active pedagogy, where caring is paramount, where students are happy and feel good, we aim to enable them to approach their daily school lives with ease and joy.

TAILOR-MADE SUPPORT

Track your child's progress

We are committed to providing personalized support for each student and to establishing strong links with each family.

WEEKLY COMMUNICATION

On a daily basis, parents are in contact with the teams via the Klassly application. At least twice a week, they receive photos with descriptions and information on the work carried out in class. A private messaging space enables communication with each teacher.

MEET THE TEAM

Two individual appointments are scheduled each year to discuss your child's progress, social integration and daily life at school. The first appointment takes place after the December vacations to cover the first two periods of the school year. And a second in June to review the past year and discuss the future.

WORK SUPPORTS

During each school vacation period, kindergarten pupils go home with their life notebook. It records all your child's work and progress over the period. In primary school, pupils go home with the work plans they use, so that they can reproduce the exercises and share their work with their parents if necessary.
