A sense of well-being, for an education based on active pedagogy
We see each of our schools as places where children can develop their self-confidence through active learning. Our bilingual Montessori schools are on a human scale, so that children feel at home.
ACTIVE TEACHING
A daily commitment to active learning
RESPECT THE PACE OF LEARNING
By paying attention to each student's learning pace, our teachers are able to provide the necessary support and make every day at school a real joy.
LISTENING TO NEEDS
Listening to children's needs means understanding the stages of development they go through. Children progress, overcome difficulties and develop their autonomy. In elementary school, each pupil has his or her own individual work plan and personalized follow-up. The specific tools we've developed promote student autonomy and responsibility, key principles of active pedagogy. Thanks to the Montessori approach developed in our nurseries and kindergartens, children are involved in their own learning from an early age.
INITIATE OPENNESS TO THE WORLD AND TO OTHERS
We offer tailor-made support and guidance to help students grow and progress as a group. Mutual support is an important value in our classes, as is group work and the sharing of ideas. The bilingual teaching provided in each of our international schools in Paris, Clichy and Marseille, from the age of 2, and the welcoming of children from expatriate families also contribute to this. Interaction and collaboration help develop psychosocial skills as well as knowledge.
WELLNESS
Promoting students' well-being through appropriate facilities
Well-being implies physical and psychological comfort. That's why we've created
spaces in each of our international Montessori schools, specially designed to help children aged 0 to 12 flourish.
Sporting, meditative and artistic practices
Activities such as yoga, motor skills, music and visual arts offer every child the opportunity to express themselves physically and artistically. Led by outside instructors with a passion for their work, these workshops respond to children's innate need to discover the world in a different way.
Reading corner
When you visit our schools, you'll see how important reading is to us. Each class has its own library, with comfortable spaces to consult books in French and English. Our selection of books covers a wide range of scientific, literary and cultural themes. We regularly renew our collection throughout the year to stimulate students' curiosity.
Relaxation area
Each of our schools has its own private outdoor playground. Children have the opportunity to play freely, whether in our bilingual school in Paris 15, our bilingual Montessori kindergarten in Paris 16, our international school in Paris - Clichy or our international school group in Marseille.
Nap rooms are also available for younger children in transition. And play and motor skills rooms are available for a variety of recreational activities.
PHILOSOPHY WORKSHOPS
Introducing scientific thinking in kindergarten with philosophy workshops
Led by our co-founder, Marie Robert, our year-round philosophy workshops for children offer students aged 3 to 12 the opportunity to reflect collectively on questions that resonate with their everyday lives. This helps build their self-confidence, critical thinking skills and reasoning abilities. Philosophy also provides structure, in parallel with other subjects such as mathematics and languages. All our teams are trained in Marie Robert's method of running philosophy workshops.
ADAPTED SPACES
Promoting the comfort and success of your children with well-designed premises
Our schools are carefully designed to provide our students with the best possible learning conditions. Classrooms are spacious. Nursery and kindergarten furniture has been custom-designed for the children. Every school in the Esclaibes International Schools network has an outdoor courtyard and vegetable garden for gardening activities.
BENEVOLENCE AND RIGOR
Enabling bilingualism through well-being
Our schools are bilingual in French and English. This simultaneous learning of two languages is made possible not only by the spatial and temporal organization of timetables and premises, but also by the fact that students learn to listen to each other.
Our pedagogical teams, made up of French and English-speaking teachers, guide them in a benevolent manner. Learning to become bilingual is also facilitated by small class sizes.
