PRESCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN,
FIRST AND SECOND GRADES
Starting in September 2026, Esclaibes International Schools will open a new bilingual international school in the heart of Marseille's 7th arrondissement. Two classes will welcome children aged 2 to 7. The school will be deliberately small in size, allowing children to build solid foundations in a demanding yet reassuring environment. Children will enjoy a 300 m² outdoor playground, a rare space in the city center where they can move, play, and explore.

BILINGUAL ENVIRONMENT
2 multi-age classes for ages 2-7
Our school welcomes children into two multi-age classes: one led by an English-speaking teacher, the other by a French-speaking teacher.
Children spend half their time in each environment. This allows them to experience real, daily immersion in both languages.
The teaching materials, classroom layout, and learning methods are identical in both classrooms, simply presented in the corresponding language.
This continuity reassures the children: they find the same familiar landmarks, the same requirements, and the same progression—without ever feeling out of place.
Bilingualism is thus developed naturally, through use and experience.
INDIVIDUALIZED FOLLOW-UP
18 students per class
Each class of up to 18 students is supervised by two adults. This small class size ensures attentive and structured support.
Our teaching method, based on hands-on learning and experimentation—largely inspired by the work of Maria Montessori—allows each child to progress at their own pace, in accordance with their needs and sensitive periods.
The multi-age class (ages 2–7) thus becomes an educational asset:
- Older children consolidate their knowledge by helping younger ones.
_ The younger children observe, imitate, and gain confidence.
Everyone finds their place in a demanding and caring environment.
Group projects, carried out from kindergarten onwards, also develop psychosocial skills: cooperation, perseverance, listening, and autonomy.

School open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

You will find us on Boulevard Tellene, 13007 Marseille. There is a courtyard behind the building!
Daycare& daily routine
Daycare is available from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Wednesdays and holidays
Bilingual workshops are offered on Wednesdays and during school holidays: an opportunity for children to continue their explorations, create, express themselves... in both languages on selected themes.
Lunch break
Two simple, flexible options: bring your own lunch box or sign up for the catering service.

Wednesday Workshops
From the moment the school opens, students will have access to bilingual workshops on Wednesdays. These extracurricular activities, offered by the teaching staff, are based around a variety of themed activities: visual arts, vocabulary, games, hands-on workshops, and reading, in both French and English. These Wednesday activities are open to children who do not attend Esclaibes International School.
Holiday Workshops
During the vacations, we organize a week-long bilingual cultural course for our students! The program includes learning and perfecting English. Subject to availability, children from outside the school are welcome.
