SMALLER CLASS SIZES TO BETTER SUPPORT EACH CHILD
From 10 to 12 children in preschool classes and up to 18 students in elementary classes: class sizes are intentionally kept small to allow the staff to get to know each child, assess their needs, and provide truly personalized support.
Depending on the class, several adults also work with the students, particularly in the context of bilingual education.
CONTINUOUS LEARNING THROUGHOUT ONE'S CAREER
Training is an integral part of our support for our teams. Depending on their background and needs, new employees can, for example, receive training in the Montessori method through our partner training organization.
Throughout their careers, our teams also receive training to enhance their practices and keep pace with changes in their field, such as the adult’s role in relation to children, new educational challenges, and the use of artificial intelligence with students…
GETTING SUPPORT AND SHARING BEST PRACTICES
An educational coordinator supports the teams and provides them with shared resources.
Each school also relies on its own administrative team.
Collaboration doesn’t stop at the school gates: joint projects, field trips involving multiple schools, off-campus learning experiences, and the sharing of experiences are all opportunities to work together and exchange ideas within the network.

Educational initiatives and projects are welcome. The network’s growth also offers opportunities to gradually take on new responsibilities.

What kind of candidates are we looking for?
Our schools regularly hire French- and English-speaking professionals to support children from early childhood through middle school.
Based on the needs of our facilities, we are specifically looking for:
- Montessori educators, whether French-speaking or English-speaking;
- teachers;
- Montessori teaching assistants, whether French-speaking or English-speaking;
- early childhood professionals, particularly childcare assistants;
- principals and school administrators.

FAQ on Hiring at Esclaibes International Schools
Do you need to be trained in the Montessori method to work at an Esclaibes school?
Montessori training is required for positions as a Montessori educator or assistant, in the age group relevant to the position: 0–3 years, 3–6 years, or 6–12 years.
However, it is not necessary to have completed AMI-certified training.
Wewelcome professionals with diverse backgrounds and training, both from France and abroad.
For certain early childhood roles, particularly childcare assistant positions, prior Montessori training is not required. Training in our educational approach may be offered as part of onboarding support.
Are you hiring English-speaking teachers?
Yes. English-speaking professionals play a vital role in our bilingual schools.
Depending on the position, we recruit English-speaking teachers, Montessori educators, and teaching assistants to ensure that children are exposed to both French and English on a daily basis.
Candidates may have completed their Montessori training in France or abroad. The required qualifications and experience are specified in each job posting.
How does the Esclaibes Group support the training of its teams?
Continuing education is part of the support offered to employees. Depending on their career paths and needs, they can participate in training on the Montessori method, as well as courses focused on current educational practices and issues.
Teams also receive support from the network’s educational director, school administrators, and through exchanges among professionals at the various schools.
Is it possible to advance within Esclaibes International Schools?
